I really liked these! Now don't get me wrong, these are not the giant, crispy, deep-fried onion rings that you get at a steakhouse (i.e. Bob's last night)...but if you like onions and a little crunch, these are a great addition to any meal. I served them with this steak. Recipe here. Make sure the onions are fully drenched in buttermilk to make the breadcrumbs stick.
