Broccoli salad: why are you so good? You make eating raw broccoli fun.
I've had broccoli salad on my mind for a while now, as I usually get it for lunch on the weekends from The Corner Market. So when my co-worker Trent mentioned that his wife made an amazing one over the weekend, I wanted to make it immediately.
She used Paula Deen's Recipe
, and aside from omitting the bacon and the onions (I was too lazy to cook the bacon and I don't like raw onions), I think this recipe is broccoli salad perfection.
Best made the day before to give the flavors some time to marinate (my own personal theory)...
