Parisian Eating

Has it been almost a month since my last blog post? Oops.  Time really got away from me this month, and I've been doing more eating than cooking. I also had my sister's nuptials in there and a trip to Paris.  So, no new recipes yet (though I am cooking Sunday dinner as I type this)...but I have some wonderful food photos to share from Paris. You're probably thinking 'food photos'? WTF am I supposed to do with those.  Well, look at them I suppose. And think to yourself, what kind of useless blog is this?

First night, deeeeeelicious cheeseburger at Le Castiglione.
Sorry for that weird photo. It's all I had to document the best cheeseburger ever. Which, by the way, had a cheese sauce in lieu of just plain old cheese. Yum.

Second night, amazing filet (on top of tons o' mashed potatoes) at our favorite Parisian restaurant Christine.
Enjoyable and totally-worth-your-money lunch at Le Jules Verne on top of the Eiffel Tower (happy as a clam here)..
Pan seared John Dory with artichokes that kind of look like claws...
Traditional french treats and a melty-lava-amazing-chocolate thing....

In need of some non-French food at Paparazzi...
Followed by a need for some totally American food at Breakfast in America.
Next, one of our favorites that we've gone back to over and over....a cozy romantic little pizza/pasta place on a charming little side street by the Eiffel Tower...Il Sorrentino.  Dinner here followed by some strolling around the lit up tower (and a stop at the ice cream stand)...is just about the most perfect night I could ever imagine.

And finally, saving the best for last...the CROQUE MONSIEUR. My favorite thing about Paris, and we ate the best one ever at L'Imperial.

GO TO PARIS.  It's the best city in the world.

Au Revoir!
